Welcome to May!
Here at Orange Chilli we can’t believe we’re already 5 months into 2015!
We’ve had a brilliant April with a gorgeous Easter wedding, an awards ceremony for a local business and we had a birthday party, so we’ve had a good mix of events here at Crownhill Fort. As well as this, in May we’ve had a wedding and we opened our café to the public while we celebrated the Landmark Trust’s 50th birthday. To end May we will be opening our café again for Crownhill Fort’s Rifle day.
We started April by hosting a wedding for a wonderful couple on Easter Saturday. 90 guests watched the bride and groom say ‘I do’ in our Barrack Room before sitting down to a 3 course meal. To see more photos of this beautiful day, head to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/orangechillicateringevents?ref=hl and our twitter page: https://twitter.com/OrangeChilli1. We also hosted an awards event for a local business who used a murder mystery theme. They had a great night and the mystery was solved.
In May we opened our café doors to the public for Landmark Trust’s 50th birthday, their #GoldenWeekend. It was great to see so many people coming up to the Fort to watch a cannon fire, to learn about the history of the Fort and to taste all of our food. We are opening our café again on Friday 29th May for Crownhill Fort’s Firing Day. There will be either a cannon fire or a rife fire on the hour, every hour and the grounds and museums will be open for you to explore. For more information, you can go to the Landmark Trust website: http://www.landmarktrust.org.uk/crownhill-fort/crownhill-fort-whats-on/ This will be a great day and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone!
We are also looking to the future! June is going to be a very busy month and we will soon be publishing an updated wedding brochure and buffet menu.
Have a good month and we’ll speak to you soon!
